Dignity Health Heart Health Fair on February 7, 2020 in Gilbert, AZ

Dignity Health will be holding a heart health fair for women at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center on February 7th, 2020.

There will be complimentary screenings, such as cholesterol testing, blood pressure and blood glucose level checks, weight and body mass index measurements and diet consultations, which will be offered in the hospital’s Healing Garden from 8 a.m. to noon.

Mercy Gilbert Medical Center is at 3555 S. Val Vista Drive in Gilbert.

The goal of the heart health fair is to raise awareness about the signs, symptoms and risks associated with heart disease in an effort to sustain a healthy community in the east valley. In the U.S., approximately 43 million women are living with heart disease.

February is American Heart Month. Heart disease is the leading cause of death among women in the U.S., and approximately one in four women will die of heart disease, but most are unaware of the risks.
